If you can't beat Old Man Winter, immortalize him with Royal Icing

Sadie had a friend over to play today and we've decided to embrace our sissy Texas winters by making these... Melted Snowman Cookies.

The instructions are here.. .http://staceyssweetshop.blogspot.com/search/label/Snowman%20Cookie ..and they're perfect for five year olds who are, um, a little, uh, imprecise, 'cause, you know, they're melting. The only downside I found was that they don't actually qualify for lunch. Off to make something magically delicious. Or turkey sandwiches. Whichever comes first.

YUM. Times one thousand. Can they be shipped to Houston? Then again...can't eat any icing...in the "dairy" family. Enjoy!

You are so awesome. I don't make cute snacks on playdates. I tried to make turkey rice krispy treats once and they looked like what you find in a dirty diaper!

My land, those look good. However the thought of baking anything with my two boys that has more than 2 steps makes me want to curl up and suck my thumb.
Which isn't a good thing.
So we will stick to just looking at the pretty pictures instead.
